Our yurt has been lovingly refurbished from its former life in Bristol city centre as a restaurant and event venue called ‘Yurt Lush’, hence the name!

THE SPACE

Yurt Lush is built for up to 4 adults with a main double bed and a double sofa bed.

Beautifully furbished, this romantic accommodation is set in a secluded spot with a sun deck and a stunning view of the lake. Yurt Lush comes with a basic kitchen and cookware, with insulation and underfloor heating throughout.

In Winter 2021 we added a cedar clad bathroom extension complete with roll top bath, underfloor heating, a flushing toilet and heated towel rail, all with a view of the woods and the lake!

Nestled into some of Britain’s most breathtaking countryside, guests can enjoy panoramic views of Chew Lake and the rolling hills around it, immersing them fully in nature.

Thirty minutes from Bristol, the Chew Valley boasts fabulous pubs and restaurants alongside timeless forests and hidden meadows to explore.

GUEST ACCESS

Prior to arrival guests will be sent directions as well as codes and instructions to access the property. Check in is from 4pm, please check out by 11am.

NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW

You will be hidden away in the countryside but there are plenty of amenities nearby should you require them. We will provide you with a full list of restaurants, shops etc. Click here to view more information about the location.

GETTING THERE

The closest airport is Bristol Airport, only 5 miles away. The closest main train station is Bristol Temple Meads, 8 miles away. Uber operates in and around Bristol, and we can provide you with detailed information about local taxi firms.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

There is a host that lives on site, and although you have complete privacy there is also security and a very friendly face to help with any issues during your stay or collecting bits and bobs from the local shop.

Please note you will need to be able to climb steps to access the entrance to this home.

The home is family friendly but care will need to be taken if small children are staying.

Bedding is provided for the main bed but please bring bedding for the sofa bed.

Pets are welcome for an additional fee payable under Add Ons. They must never be left unsupervised.

1 night minimum weekdays all year round, & weekends outside of Summer. 2 night minimum weekends in Summer.

Returning guests receive a further 15% discount. Please contact us directly with your previous booking details for a discount code.

There is an additional £65 cleaning fee which must be added when booking.
